LZ Books provides an option to manually add transactions to your books. This is helpful in many cases, including if:
- You aren’t ready to connect a bank account.
- You need to upload past transactions from an account that is not connected to LZ Books.
- You want to sync transactions from a past date.
- Your bank account might not be supported by Plaid at present.
Adding a single manual transaction
- Navigate to the New button in the top right corner.
- Select +Transaction.
Importing transactions in bulk
If you already have a bank account connected
- Navigate to the Transactions tab.
- Select the Gear icon in the Connected account section.
- You’ll see the option to Import a .csv file of your transactions.
If you don’t have a bank account connected
- Navigate to the Transactions tab.
- Select Connect Bank.
- Exit out of the Plaid bank connect workflow, then select Import in the top right corner.
- Follow the instructions to upload a .csv file of your transactions.
