Selecting a category
If you have identified a transaction as Business Income or an Expense, you’ll have the option to select the related category from the category dropdown. This category dropdown is a predefined list of categories. Each category has an information icon next to it that will provide a description of what this category should be used for.
Splitting a transaction
At LZ Books, we offer the flexibility to split a single transaction into multiple transactions. This feature comes in handy when you want to split your purchase into different expenses. For instance, if you buy supplies for your business at Home Depot and the receipt includes items for personal use as well, you can split the transaction into two separate transactions. By doing so, you can accurately categorize expenses and keep track of your business and personal spending separately.
Bulk editing transactions
We provide the ability to bulk edit transactions. This feature can simplify the process of editing multiple transactions simultaneously, saving you time.
