What are the associated fees for accepting digital payments on an invoice?
When using Stripe with LZ Books, you'll be charged Stripe's standard processing fees. Stripe charges 2.9% + 30¢ per successful credit or debit card charge. ACH direct debit transfers have even lower fees. Click here to learn more.
Is Stripe the only payment processor that I can use with LZ Books?
Right now, Stripe is the only payment processor we support directly from our invoices. However, if you would like to use a different payment processor, you can provide your clients information on how to do so in the Notes section of the invoice. Once you get paid, you can manually mark the invoice as “paid” from the Invoice list.
How long does it take for an invoice paid via Stripe to show up in a bank account?
Payout availability can vary depending on the industry and country in which you operate. In most cases, when you start processing live payments from your customers with Stripe, you won’t receive your first payout until 7–14 days after receiving your first successful payment.
The payout schedule after your first payment is determined by the payout schedule you have set in your Stripe account, which can be viewed within your Stripe dashboard. By default, payments are scheduled to be deposited daily and typically take up to three business days to process before being deposited into your bank account.
How do I turn off the ‘Pay Now’ button on an invoice?
Navigate to the customize menu from an invoice or a proposal.
Select payment settings.
Toggle off the debit/credit and/or ACH payment options.
Save the changes.
How do I give my client a refund on an Invoice?
You can refund your client on an Invoice through your Stripe account. We don’t have this capability available in LZ Books.
