# Searching for a document

Follow these steps to search for a document:

1. **Log in** to your LegalZoom account.
2. Go to **Documents** in the left navigation bar.
3. Click **eSignature** under it.
4. Go to the **Search documents** bar on the top-right corner of the screen.
5. Type at least **three consecutive letters** from the name of the document you are searching for.
6. Click the **Search** icon. The search results will appear.
7. Select the document from the results.
