Creating documents from LegalZoom templates

Accessing LegalZoom templates

Here are three ways to access the LegalZoom’s template library:

1. From the website link

You can directly access the LegalZoom template store by clicking on this link - https://www.legalzoom.com/templates

2. From the Documents page

Follow these steps:

1. Log in to your LegalZoom account.
2. Go to Documents in the left navigation bar.
3. Find the Easily create documents with attorney drafted templates block.
4. Click the External link icon.

You will be redirected to the LegalZoom template store. 

3. From the Legal Forms folder

Follow these steps:

1. Log in to your LegalZoom account.
2. Go to Documents in the left navigation bar.  
3. Click eSignature under it. 
4. Open the Legal Forms folder.
5. In the Form templates block, click the Browse form templatesbutton on the top-right corner of the screen. 
   • You can also click the Browse form templates button under the All files section.

You will be redirected to our LegalZoom template store.

Creating a document using a template

Once you are in the LegalZoom template library, follow these steps to generate a document using the templates:

1. Select a template of your choice.
   

   
   

2. In the template preview page, click the Create for free button.
   
   
   
3. Answer the guided questionnaire to fill out the template and complete your document.
   
   
4. Once you have provided all the necessary information, click the Generate document button to access the finished document.
   
   
   
5. To access, sign in to your LegalZoom account. If you are a new user, create an account in a few steps (no credit card required).
   
   
   
6. If you have multiple workspaces in your LegalZoom account, choose a workspace where you want to store the document.
   

   
   

7. The document will open in your account. You can download it for free by clicking the More (⋮) icon on the top-right corner of the screen and selecting the Download option.
   

   
   

All the documents created from the LegalZoom template library will be stored in the Legal Forms folder in your account.
